Bottled in December 2008, Phillips Family Selection Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz is deep crimson and vibrant. Violets, boysenberry and brown spices over black current and plum aromas dominate the nose. Dark berry fruit dominates the flavour profile, while hints of red fruits and spice underlie. The palate is supple with fine grain tannins. Hints of mocha and brown spice from the oak give great length. A great partner to Osso Bucco or Lamb Shanks. Cellar potential 7-10 years.
